CSA/Farm Share Talk and Produce Themed Vegan Potluck

Hello everyone! Hope you're all having a wonderful Spring.   We had a great time at the recent chili cook off  and we have a real treat in store for you next month as well.

On Saturday May 4th, Janet Czarnecki of Redwood Roots Farm will be sharing with us about the great options and programs available there.  Here's a little bit more about her:

Janet Czarnecki is the farmer and owner of Redwood Roots Farm. She is a grower with more than 25 years experience in community and small-scale organic agriculture. Her hands helped shape the fifth CSA in the country, as well as many community, educational, and market gardens in Michigan and California.

The theme for next month's vegan* potluck will be dishes inspired by homegrown or fresh produce.  Think salads, wraps, sandwiches, soups, desserts, raw dishes, etc.

When: Saturday, May 4th. 12:00-2:30 pm

Where: Humboldt Area Foundation, 373 Indianola Road, Bayside, CA

See you soon!

This event is open to the public and is free of charge. Attendees should bring one or two vegan dishes to share, as well as their own plates, cups, and utensils. (Vegan* means no animal products, including meat, fish, dairy, eggs, honey, etc.) Thank you.  :)
